INSPIRING: Little Boy in Nigeria left for dead until amazing woman saves him

This image of a 2 year old boy in Nigeria has lately become a viral sensation. This naive child was found on the street, abandoned, naked, and contaminated with worms. He wasn’t too far from dying until a woman named Anja Ringgren Loven moved in to help.



She adopted him as her own and took care of him after the community he lived in abandoned the boy because they speculated he was practicing ‘witchcraft’ because of his physical condition.

When Anja, who runs the African Children’s Aid Education and Development Foundation in Nigeria, interviewed the people, all they told was he had no father or mother to look after him. Naturally, Anja had to take action. She gave the child water, wrapped him in a blanket and brought him to the hospital.

Thanks to Anja, the little boy, whom Anja refers to as “Hope”, is a healthy, glowing child today.
