4.7 magnitude quake rocks Davao Occidental!

A magnitude 4.7 quake shook Davao Occidental Wednesday afternoon, the Philippine Institute for Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) said.

The epicenter of the 72 kilometer-deep tremor was recorded near Sarangani. PHIVOLCS recorded the quake at around 1:30 p.m.
No aftershocks or damage are expected from the said incident, PHIVOLCS said.

The quake comes a few weeks after Surigao del Norte was devastated by a 6.7 magnitude quake that took at least 8 lives, and injured several others.
