Good Samaritan: Wheel Chair Porter, Taxi Driver and Airport Security Guard Returned Huge Amount of Money!

WHEELCHAIR PORTER RETURNED PHP 700,000; TAXI DRIVER RETURNED PHP 220,000; AIRPORT SECURITY GUARD RETURNED USD 5,500

Two Airport Personnel and one Taxi Driver were commended by the Department of Transportation earlier this morning for demonstrating the value of honesty.

Mang Rizalde Ocde, a wheelchair porter, returned PhP 700,000 cash that he saw at the NAIA Terminal 3 Departure Area.

71 year-old Mang Antonio Infante, a taxi driver, returned PhP 220,000 cash left by a passenger in his taxi.

Lastly, Airport Security Guard Alfredo Baldoza returned a pouch that he found at NAIA Terminal 3 with USD$ 5,500 inside.

DOTr Secretary Tugade gave each of the three personnel reward money from his personal funds, and, after seeing that Mang Antonio has a cleft lip, called his friend doctor to operate on Mang Antonio for free.

Sec. Tugade also called the three personnel “heroes” and urged other people to do the same act of goodwill.
