Animals are usually very protective over their own young but could care less about other animal babies. One day a farmer went into the chicken coop and saw one of the hen’s perched on something. 

He assumed that it was one of her eggs, but he was shocked when he looked closer!





The hen was actually sitting on an abandoned kitten to protect it!
